Microblading

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing technique where a trained professional uses a handheld tool to create tiny, hair-like strokes to fill in sparse or uneven brows. The results look natural and are tailored to your face shape and preferences.

  • Microblading typically lasts between 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for your brows after the procedure. Over time, the pigment naturally fades, and you may need a touch-up.

  • Most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. A numbing cream is applied to the area beforehand to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during the process.

  • Avoid using retinol, exfoliating products, or tanning treatments around your brow area for at least one week before your appointment. Refrain from alcohol or blood thinners (like aspirin) 24 hours before your session to minimize the risk of bruising or excess bleeding.

  • Your brows may appear darker and more defined immediately after the treatment, but don’t worry—this is completely normal. Over the next 7-10 days, your brows will scab and flake, and the color will lighten to a more natural shade. Avoid picking or scratching the area to ensure proper healing.

  • The healing process typically takes about 4-6 weeks. During this time, it’s essential to follow aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and prevent infection.

  • Your technician will provide aftercare instructions, but generally, you should:

    • Keep the area clean and dry.

    • Avoid touching or scratching your brows.

    • Apply any healing ointment as instructed.

    • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds during the healing process.
